no kidding. My TSC told me they just switched TO Mt. Healthy a couple of years ago and said now their chicks are so much better and no problems. I'm new to chickens and didn't know anything about the hatcheries back when I had this conversation. Makes me wonder if I heard her right. Yikes.I read the CDC report on the link you attached, and it sounds like Mt. Healthy should just be avoided. They've been linked to salmonella outbreaks the past three years. Seems like they would have made efforts to clean things up.
