Treating Tapeworms - Under Construction

Redose again in 10 days, that should take care of them.
I've seen all different kinds of shapes and sizes of tapeworms excreted after worming chickens. Some are flat and broken in pieces, others with jellyfish like tentacles, Others that looked like what you described. Looks like the z-gold is working. I'd still redose in 10 days.

Should we treat the flock with a course of Wazine before giving ivermectin or Safe-guard? I read in another post that the chickens should get Wazine first, or else the dead roundworms could clog them up.

Okay. Is there any reason to keep Wazine and Ivomec in the first aid kit if I already have Safeguard? Looks like Safeguard kills roundworm so Wazine is outdated?

I keep ivermectin for treating lice and mites. I don't have any Wazine, but I think it's a good one to have.

Ditto what Casportpony stated. I give my birds Wazine on occasion during the summer. It's good to keep it for rotation purposes.

I’ve been treating my flock for tapeworm since October and still didn’t get rid of them... i tried Avitrol plus and Equimax, retreated 14 days after the first dose and those segments always re-appear in their poop a week or a week and a half later...
it’s a never ending problem so if it works for any of you guys please let me know your tips
