Chickens or things for them. Or going to a poultry show... My current want is enough concrete blocks to raise the rest of the coops so they don't get flooded every time we irrigate. And new roofs for the coops that leak. And for my son to weld me an arbor for the Lady Banksia rose I got last week.

Oh...I did splurge last week. Lowe's had several fruit trees (and the rose) on clearance. I bought a plum, nectarine and apricot tree, and the rose. Three were $5.98, 1 was $4.98. Original prices were close to $40 each.

Sounds wonderful! My husband is kind of treating me (because it was his idea). We're staying in a hotel in Columbus and going to the Ohio National Poultry show this weekend. We truly should spend the money of that, but hubby said what! He said I deserve it. What a great guy I have. He will enjoy it too.......He has been bitten by the chicken bug too! haha

I hope to buy a few chickens......just a few now. That'll be my treat.

Oh, but aside from chicken stuff......I did buy myself three pairs of pants, one shirt and a purse about a month ago. Sometimes you just gotta do that.....

I also love Bath & Body stuff. I like the coconut/lime scented products. There's a another similar store, might just be called the Body Shop, and they have an orange (or is it tangerine) scented body butter that I just loooooove. It makes my skin feel so good in the winter time. I like that better than the Bath and Body stuff........

Happy birthday to both of you! I just had one on the 28th Oct. and for the first time in a long time I went out and bought myself a gift, a beautiful 14 carrot gold ring with a garnet ....thickish band with tiny diamonds under the garnet. So, so pretty. Just waiting for them to enlarge it to my size. Such luxury!

Guess I'll have to wear it after chicken work and visits, I've got a feeling that they'll try to eat the red stone.
