You know....I thought maybe Annie was thinking about going broody. She was circling a bush one afternoon for hours. Sort of thought she was looking for the perfect nesting spot. But she gave it up. So no broody behavior yet from either hen. I believe the only way Daisy would go broody is if its on my lap. Spoiled bird!

So Ralph...your not going to let your broody stay on the nest? Your going to suit up and fight her for the eggs? Can you have someone video it for us?

It's chilly down here this morning. Low 50's. But the girls love it. Hopping around in circles flapping. Goofballs. Not sure what happened, but Daisy was displaying yesterday. I was grooming a dog & heard weird noises. When I walked over to see what was going on, Daisy had her tail in the air. Annie or the chickens didn't seem bothered by anything. I did see a dove fly off. Maybe that was what upset her. It's only the 2nd time I've seen her do that.
