If you used a barred hen in the cross (as long as the rooster isn't barred or dominant white) the chicks would be black sex links which would be handy when doing a meat cross!

Well there will be multiple crosses so then I'll do Barred to the end result. It's just white rocks are more meaty than other rocks.
