I'd probably put raw honey on, separate from other chicks - just block off a small area or something - and see what happens. I don't know what all can be done for a chick. :/

That's good, at least. Keep it clean - that's the most important thing. And I wouldn't try pushing it in - it's a good idea, but if it is dry that might end up hurting him more. Maybe if it softens, though. Is this one of the new layers?
