Turkey Talk for 2014

So one of my poults seems to be a shavings eater. It is about 2weeks old and I just notice today when I changed the bedding that it was gulping down tons of shaving instead of food. I separated it but its so mad and peeping SOOOOO LOUDLY. It does have a friend to keep company. I may have to try using different bedding. Any suggestions?
I used sand. I had one do that and nearly lost him. Make sure he has plenty to drink and watch for crooked neck! Good luck.

Cover the bedding with paper towels for several weeks.

I will be ordering the turkey storage bags in the morning. To make the shipping costs worth the money, I am ordering several things. They have a scale that goes up to 26 pounds. Is that good enough for BR?

I need suggestions for a biting Jenny! She was always curious about whatever I was doing, but tonight she was actually biting my hand, and looked like she was going to attack my chest. I finally braved getting bit again, and put her on the ground while I finished working. Anyone have experience with this?

Wow, those are some beautiful birds! My Beltsvilles are getting very big as well. I had them out last night and they were using me as a human perch, lol.

Very pretty! Seeing all the beautiful colors makes me want to have more then Midget Whites! Does this mean I am getting the "disease?"

Thanks! Yes, raising turkeys is addictive! I love it when they perch on me
