Turkey Talk for 2014

I have a 16 week old tom that is very sweet to me but all the others he gets aggressive with. He tries to bite. I have no idea why

I'm not sure it is a tom but they will fuss to determine who it the dominate on in the flock. I had a hen that bit off everyone's snoods. But they grew back.

I have to agree, that looks very "henish" for a tom, at 16 weeks you would think it would have a darker and more "warted" up wattle.

Also has thin "girl" legs, In my unlearned opinion.

If it is a hen it is a gobbling hen lol. He or it has started doing a half gobble and strutting. I had him or it strutting in my living room along with drumming

I am curious as to why you think this is a tom.

As far as the behavior, it is not inconsistent with a hen establishing her dominance over the rest of the flock.

I have to agree with the others that as a 4 month old it sure looks like a hen to me.

He is a black winged bronze I was told they are a slow grower The pictures I posted his snood was retracted, it does droop past his beak at times. Hey R2elk I used to live at Casper, I loved it
