Oh wow... ok, so I wont worry to much...
Woke up this morning to 4 chickens out and one turkey, from what I can see there are possibly 6-7 more turkey pips and atleast 4 chicken... I wont do a happy dance until their out... everyone knows a pip is not a chick..

But I am feeling a bit better about this set

It is a happy day!

I just sold the last of my 2014 hatch. I had 3 badly behaved boys that needed to go. They went to St Paul today to be the guests of honor at a family feast next weekend...

I got my breeders into pens yesterday and found a nest today. (hidden) I know which hen it belongs too as she was going nuts not being able to get out of the pen.

Today is turkey day zero! 25 on the left are Bourbon Red from BYC member Jessshan8, who packaged them so well they suffered not at all traveling from Montana to Michigan. The eggs on the right are locally purchased mixed flock (Slate, Black, Narragansett) that throw interesting colors.

They are warming from shipping and storage temps on top of the incubator and will be set tonight.

Turkey #3 just hatched! This hatch is going very quick, even tho Humidity is a bit high and I keep telling myself its fine, it will go down as they dry, but no sooner do they start drying then another one starts zipping.. So far, 3 Turkeys and 5 chickens out, another turkey (maybe two) looks to start wanting to zip, working the air hole a bit... I leave the room and clean one room and go back to watch...Love it!!
