After a while your flock may begin to accept them and allow them to come closer. This can take a few weeks or even a few months. I allow my 6 week olds to live in a seperate pen inside the coop for a month or so before allowing them to run loose with the bigger hens and it works well. It seems after that amount of time the older hens just accept the younger ones as part of the flock.
