I had to put one hen down because she had gotten sick and was losing all her winter weight and had all three symptoms named in the title, my second hen has the swollen foamy eye with the runny nose and now recently, on the third day, she's developed diarrhea. I've singled out the sick hens at the first sign of illness of course and the very first hen before these two recovered and is doing great. I put down the one that lost weight but now I'm afraid the latest ill hen is going to go the route of the deceased. They are both dominique hens and none of my other breeds or babies are getting sick. I just don't know what else to do. I use sulmet in their water everyday and have recently only use tetracycline in the sick birds water. She eats but is depressed because she's separated.
