Nah. I leave it on; takes me less than 5 minutes to get ready. I have prep time down to an art form.

Well, not to brag or anything, but I'm up to 4 a day now thanks to the pullets, and if I'm lucky the broody Silkies will keep half of them from freezing and splitting open before I get to them.

You know it's winter when you go to do morning chicken chores and the waterer froze over and you have to run to the building to check the gfci outlet and then run into the house to bring out a kettle of water to start the thawing process all before you head off to work.
