Soy and corn free does not mean that they will not get fatty liver from eating it. If you intend to continue with this feed then fermenting it and feeding them a limited ration twice a day rather than ad lib would be my advice, There are posts from others on this site whose birds have died suddenly from liver haemorrhage due to selective consumption of whole grain feeds like Scratch and Peck. Yes, production will fall when you change feeds because they will not like pellets or crumbles nearly so much, but if you persevere with it they will get used to it and production will come back up. Sometimes you have to be tough with them until they transition.
To me it seems like this bird had more than one issue going on inside her and perhaps if the liver haemorrhage had not killed her suddenly, she may have had a slow and painful death with the cyst and fungal infections..... thanks @Texas Kiki for the magnified report
