I do understand the other vaccines... thou I wish I was smarter about them when my oldest was younger... I would have waited till he needed them to go to school, unstead of starting them in the hospital. I do blame them for his autistic tendancies... I understand kids need these shots, well the ones for the measels and the hepititas one... but they don't need them so early... that is a lot for a baby to handle.... anyway.....

But the Chicken Pox...? Really!? What is wrong with the chicken pox?? Is the risk of autism really out weighed by the 100 people that die from it out of the 4 million people that get it?? Is it worth making another kid come home from school crying about not being the same as everyone else. or be tormented in school and bullied... what if we are putting 200 kids... 300 kids threw this to save 100.... is it worth it??? and we really don't know the risks cause it hasen't been out there all that long...

I'm just frustrated... Thanks.. rant over.

I TOTALLY agree... I won't be first in line for the swine flu vaccine either!! Let me know in 10 years how ya all fell after that one!!
Thankfully I did not get my daughter vaccines when said and that DPT, the P part... a good book to read is "A shot in the Dark"... scary stuff. I am sorry you had effects from the vaccines. My niece and my daughters cousins both had reactions to the Pertussis vaccine..

when my baby boy went to the big K they required it. I was shocked too, I told them he wouldn't need it because he had already had chicken pox... needless to say they weren't impressed.

I agree... its like the swine flu inoculations they required in the 70's..... More people died as a result of the inoculations in the US than the actual flu.

I just enrolled my daughter in Kindergarten and she had to have the chicken pox vaccine,...I was miffed to say the least myself. I mean its the chicken pox,.....

. I really don't want to go there, but it is a sad day when the goverment is regulating so much "stuff" now days. What happened to our freedom? The kids have to go to school and in order to go to school thye HAVE to have the shot. The only out is homeschooling and many of us don't have that option.

Idk if this is everywhere but when me and my brother enrolled in school for the first time we we were both supposedly required to have the vaccine. That was 12 years ago. When my mom told them we had both already had chicken pox they tried to make us go get the vaccine as well. However my mom's a nurse and she had them call a doctor. The doctor agreed we didn't need it so neither of us got it.

Swine Flu Inoculations? I'm intrigued...

There is always a way around this. If you don't want to give your child a vaccine, DON'T!! You are a smart parent.
No one has the right to force you to vaccinate your child.
Keep in mind that here in AZ, all the illegal Mexican children are unvaccinated. You can opt out for religious or philosophical reasons. Just sign a waiver.
Fight for your rights, don't be bullied!!

They told me as of now it is required for a child to attend kindergarten. It wasnt when my son started school about 7yrs ago.

They lied.

Every parent has the option to not vaccinate their child for religious or personal reasons. Schools may tell you it is required, but every state has exemptions in their laws. There may be a form to sign or a letter to send but it is still your choice whether or not to vaccinate.
