Sorry, that case was lost in a big way. Autism is not caused by vaccines. Even if it were, mercury (what was thought to be the culprit) has not been used for many years in those vaccines. Chicken pox does kill, mostly as shingles in adults (granted, not often). Whether to vaccinate for it or not is a personal choice. But, I would like to point out that vaccines have saved millions of lives through the years, as well as agonizing disfigurements. Look back in history when polio was rampant. It was a terrifying time for many. Or pertussis.
Another thing to consider is that viruses/bacteria are continuously evolving. At any point it could develop into a more destructive illness. Whether or not chicken pox warrants mandatory vaccines is up for debate, and you should be able to not get it. However, the link to Autism from vaccines was refuted in further studies, and that should not be a reason to not be vaccinated. There may be other reasons, it's true, but not that one.
