The trick when cooking Yorkshire puddings is to get the oven and oil in the dish to maximum heat. Put the mixture in and DO NOT open the oven to see how they're doing. Leave them to fully rise. Or you can do what i do and buy pre cooked ones and just heat them up!
I do corn bread much the same way. Hot pan, hot oil, hot oven..lol
I probably checked on em too much.. im bad about leaving things alone.:lau
Ive looked for those here but so far haven't found a local place that carries em..:(
 
Toad in the hole is another good one. It's the same mixture as for Yorkshire puddings but in a dish then mostly cook some sausages and put them in the mixture. Put it in the oven and let it rise. Nice with mash veggies and gravy.

But if I found the right thing it looks yummy! Kinda like a breakfast casserole .. i think.:confused:
