Umbilical cord on duckling attached for a day. What should I do??

This duckling hatched at 3am this morning but is still attached to everything via the umbilical cord. Should I cut it or let it dry up on its own and is there anything else I can do to help??

I would look for where there are no veins and cut it off there. Looks like there might be a vien at the red arrow, so I would probably cut at the blue arrow:
