Mine actually seem to like it. Though it may be the color they are attracted to.

A couple minutes ago I heard screaming coming from the coop and ran down to find my favorite hen being attacked by a hawk. PLEASE HELP! She’s got a messed up leg and multiple injuries please please help me!!!

**URGENT UPDATE**
I think she’s out of shock, but something else came up. She’s not eating or drinking as much, and when I went to clean her wounds tonight. I saw this. She started fighting me when it came to cleaning her wounds— she’s never done that before tonight. I really flushed it out with saline and used a cotton pad to dab it, and just coated it like crazy in triple anibotic. Infection?

Mom keeps telling me to ask you guys about raw, wild honey. Says it is crazy antibacterial or something.
I’m not totally on board with it (it works wonders on me, though) so I just wanted to ask you guys so that I can give her a yes or no answer.

I tried but she freaked out. I’m gonna go for it again in the morning. I’m worried about the yellow— but you think it’s alright? Should I stop washing and changing it as much as I am? (Once in the morning, once at night) Worried I’m doing too much for her.

I originally was spraying it, but I started gently rubbing it with a cotton pad. She bites me when I do this, so I try to be as gentle as possible.

Washing out the wound, reapplying neosporin and placing gauze over it.
