I think i would wait til there was a second hatch for moving them, so the first one is not alone. I'm sure she hears them working their way out to see her

Well, day 23 brought the chick that pipped last night doing nothing. So I just opened its tiny pip a bit more. It might not be ready yet, so as long as I can see its still alive, I will leave it the way it 's now.

The one that hatched last night but was attached to the egg shell is doing fine! The cord detached from the egg and she is still dragging it a little bit, but I am sure it will fall off in a while.

Several of my chicks have hatched and had that cord dragging around behind it and it fell off in a few hours. I'm sure it will be fine! Congrats on another hatch! I'm so happy that more chicks are hatching for you!!!
