Maybe I missed this earlier, but what's the speed of your connection?

... and to verify: if you resize the photos locally, they all upload fine, or no?

If the issue is slow connections + large files + server timeout, I can see if we can extend the timeout period at the server level. I just need to make sure there aren't any negative consequences.

Tested on Chrome developer with the Low-End Mobile option enabled. Takes ages, but still works.
