i feel so bad but i think he passed i feel like a murder im literally sick to my stomach

I’m very sorry about your duckling

Looking at your picture he wasn’t ready to hatch yet I’m afraid. The blood vessels are very active and very red still. Also the yolk sac is still there so not absorbed.

yeah i saw, he had two yolks tho and two air sacs and almost no space at all to grow so it probably wasnt good either way, thank you tho!

You aren't a murderer, try not to beat yourself up. You were given bad advice that's all, you did your best to help the little guy. It wasn't your fault.

Are you certain there was two yolks?
The two air cells make more sense in that case. I think I've heard of this happening once before.

yeah almost certain, saw two on both sides of the egg and the two air cells too
