I checked my hens tonight and noticed something was wrong. She is in pain trying to poo and crying. I soaked her 20 minutes in Epson salt trying to clean it but she is stra0ining and still blocked

It appears she is prolapsing. Give her a calcium tablet and plenty of water to drink and put her someplace quiet where she won't be disturbed and you can easily check on her from time to time. Be sure the calcium is at least 600mg and it should contain D3. She likely has an egg stuck.

Azygous has dealt more with a prolapse than I have. Does the yellow mass seem like a lash egg stuck in the prolapse? I would give the calcium soon as possible. Keep the vent and prolapse area moist with ointment, oil, or honey. Let us know how she gets along.
