Jurors know when an attorney is grasping at straws and their attacks show their weakness to defend.

Hopefully he'll rot. Hate to say this, but he probably won't be in there long enough for that, but he'll at least see bars. Now if he had kicked a dog??? LIFE!

Give your son a great big hug for me. They him I said if he can get through this he can get through anything. Although he is definatly a victim, tell him to use this to become a strong caring person and know that there are people out there that care about him, even if they didn't know about this from you. Good people always care when a child has been hurt for whatever reason and many prwy for them just by hearing about the crimes.

thanks every one... this weekend is our Thanksgiving... but we are not celebrating this year.. I just dont have it in me to be near people right now.. I am snappy and moody... bawling one minute and chewin someones head off the next...

we will have a verdict sometime next week the jury is going to be given their instructions on tuesday morning

I am staying busy by cleaning... washing walls and baseboards...

I bought a simple sewing pattern and will start my daughter off with her fists lesson in sewing and following a pattern.. (a very easy McCalls poncho pattern) cleaning the yard getting everything put away for winter.

when I start to feel over whelmed I will go outside and rake some leaves so I co go have a good cry and be by myself (my other 2 children dont know their oldest brother is a survivor) get over my

and come in and wash walls.. when I am having a good moment I will help daughter with her sewing project

My heart goes out to both of you. Can't say I know what you're going through - no one knows your pain...

but I know how I felt a few years back when my grandma was raped and murdered. Waiting for justice can be agonizing... but please allow family/friends to be there for you. Those that love you and your son understand why you're crabby or why you may need to lash out or cry. They may be feeling helpless as to how to "make it better" for you, and being there for you may be the only way they can show their support and love for you. And family can be a good distraction (at least, if you have a family as goofy as mine!!) And maybe some of those friends/family members can spend time with your children so you can have some time to let those feelings out. Holding it in and being strong to spare others can be exhausting...
