How about a chicken information page contest?

Members would create an informational page on a breed of their choice, and include pictures or examples of their birds. Information such as breed characteristics, history, uses etc would be included. Contest entries could then be used as a "breed encyclopedia" of sorts for online viewing by all members, as well as guests.

How about a contest for the best contest idea? I sure would love to win 3 of those homemade chicken saddles... JUst kidding (but really, no I need the saddles). How about a forumwide scavenger hunt thru the threads?

I'll be glad to help in any way I can. I've been around a while now and my nose is clean.

For a contest how about a caught being good award. For example if a member notices another member being really helpful or nice they could pm the contest moderator and nominate them for a prize.

Sorry I should have qualified my statement about "a member in good standing"... basically, anybody who is active, responsible, a good communicator and not banned.

Being as I'm perfect, I presume that I'm in perfect standing, so if there's anything that I can do to help, let me know.

I like the egg decorating contest, especially with Easter's being right around the corner. I suggest that it be for children only in maybe five age groups, such as:
3-5
6-8
9-11
12-14
15-18
Only one egg per contestant, i.e., choose your best to enter.


BTW, if I'm made a judge, it's only fair to warn you that I am not above taking fudge bribes from mothers.
