I want to get a small pond dug and make a big box/coop for them to rest, stay warm, nest, lay eggs or whatever. I would plant some big ornamental grass and couple evergreen trees and bushes by the pond. I live in Ross County Ohio and I'm in the country, but of course it would be very expensive to fence in the pond and a big area of grass and I would love for the geese and ducks to be able to free range around the yard and pond there whole life's but of course the only thing I'm worried about are predators. And I've never had ducks or geese so I'm wanting goose/duck 101 and any tips or anything I should know and care. Thanks in advance

Hi chicken farmer. I reckon one of the best things you can do is work your way through the threads, read about raising them, and about health problems and behaviour problems, and you´ll find a lot of extra stuff mixed in there as well. Happy reading!
