Washingtonians Come Together! Washington Peeps

I got up at 5, made coffee and went out to the coop. scooped all the nights poop and took the water jug in the house for a rinse and refill- I am so glad its warmer. I did get 2 eggs yesterday. the flock is at the end of 23 weeks old and the rest of the hens combs have finally reddened up.
I have my pork & red chili pasole thawing and set out the chicken green chili and pork red chili tamales I made. The pasole will cook all morning.

Well hubby got his pancakes this morning! Of course he sprung it on me (the restaurant's open, let's go!) while I was trying to get pork going in the crockpot for dinner, sigh. But pork (and the rest of Christmas Eve/Christmas dinner) got cooked, he got his pancakes, so he's in a happy mood.

What a feast! That looks so good!

1) I rarely eat pancakes
2) I actually have never made regular pancakes before
3) Breakfast (or specifically brunch) is something we go out for on weekends and holidays, we otherwise only eat lunch and dinner
4) We have no eggs :(
I made pancakes this morning and didn't eat a one. Hubby loves them. Mine are very good, an old recipe, but I wasn't in the mood for them.
