Done vacationing, and no I am not going to try to "catch up" with 10 days worth of posts. Not going to happen.

If something really important happened that I need to know about, please tell me.
I have to say it did feel good to unplug from most all forms of electronics. No phone most of the time and no computer, very little TV. It was really very peaceful. Oh, and being in Cabo San Lucas was pretty good too.

Hope everyone is well, and enjoying this nice weather. I know I am and my chickens are too.

So, for assorted reasons having to do with not wanting to leave Deary in the laundry room while we were gone, and naked currying of favor with the toddlers and preschoolers in my family, I brought her over to my sister's house today- here my cousin Joey's grandson, Joey (my late Uncle Joe's great-grandson

) meets his first chicken.

Cement is the "binder" that hardens and holds things together. Concrete is gravel (and some sand) cement and water. Without cement concrete doesn't happen.

I am fairly new to gardening, but WOW! These look like they could make planting so much easier and help things grow in their row!!

I have done this for carrots and radishes but using paper napkins from fast food places, separate to one ply. great thing to do in winter while watching TV. You seldom have to thin them, very easy for square foot gardening.

I think short of an actual seeding machine, that has got to be the quickest way - I like how you could use Elmer's white glue if you wanted. Very cool.

I wonder how long they keep. There must not be enough moisture in the paste to make the seed germinate.

I really hate the fact that I am currently stuck "working for the man". Pay is great, but when I come home, I am unfulfilled. If I were a braver man, I'd put together a plan that would get me on the road that heads to where I need to be.

I hate hows society frowns on non-conformers.
