I posted a few birds for sale--if anyone's interested--I can bring them to the show!

Bantam calico cochin pair:

Bantam Russian Orloff cockerel:

Sebbie gander:

I also have a blue Muscovy drake and a gorgeous little calico cockerel (cochin bantam) I'll be offering for sale as well.

I'm hoping to get these guys sold before the show so I don't have to pay for a bunch of sale cages.

Nice pages Rustler. You might inspire me to add to mine. I did a couple more pages, but forgot to save.

Well, I'll be heading to Seattle once again, this time to pick up a female puppy, again, from South Africa. But this time from a more trusted breeder. Hopefully she's been vaccinated, because if not, she is quite likely to pick up Parvo from our current pup.

On the way back, I'll be dropping by cowgirlgrace's place to pick up some Coronation Split Sussex hens.

- No, I won't be breeding Sussex or any Lavender type color, I'm using them for a meat project. However who knows, maybe I'll introduce Isabel coloration to the project down the road. Something like this -

Looking through my program, it is very likely I will run across a few birds with that coloration.

I'm glad someones at least trying to help you and your neighbors. It can be quite freaky to have a cougar roaming close by.

Yes--especially when I'm home alone a lot and having to feed/water and get the mail. The neighbor that saw it said it was at the mail about 10 minutes after I was.

Not exactly from Auburn/Sumner, but I live in Renton, work in Fed Way, so I pass through Auburn.

Welcome to you and all the rest of the new Washingtonians.

BTW- You guys posted 3 pages while I was frantically reading. Lol

In random order:

cheryl, ?
I also do not think it is a climbing rose. There are so many different roses, that it would be tough to give much advice without knowing the species. It's different for different kinds. If you want, I have a book of pruning with pix. I can copy the section on roses and mail to you. PM an address. If you have an ACE near you, hey usually have a few reference books available. You are probably OK to prune from now until April, in fact Spring, after danger of hard freezes, is the reccommended time to prune roses.

Guess I'll have to go back to respond, to other questions.

Russ

Thanks Russ! I will check at ace. Im also going to stop by the library and see what they have on hand as a reference...

Ooohh....not so good timing. Even if she HAS been vaccinated chances are REALLY good that she'll end up with it. Hopefully it will not be as severe as if she were unvaccinated, but bad enough anyway....

Yep, I'm pretty aware of it. And you also have to consider the vaccine only works for certain strains, and I am definitely one of those people who don't think vaccines work at all, really. Back in the old days people used to "vaccinate" puppies herbally. . . .
