Hello everybody I got a seramas rooster that have watery eyes and is sleepy do you think is gape worm and also does wazine works for it thanks

Welcome to BYC. In chickens, if I see a watery eye, I think of a possible respiratory disease if there are no irritating ammonia odors. Is he gaping or gasping, or having any sneezing? Any head shaking? Gapeworm is a rarer type of worm, and it is best treated with fenbendazole (SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer or the Equine Wormer. ) Dosage is 1/4 ml per pound given by mouth for 5 straight days. Wazine will treat roundworms only.

I would get him drinking plenty of water, and a chick vitamin electrolyte would also be good to use. Add a little water to a small bowl of feed, and offer that up to his beak. If you think that an antibiotic would help, Tylan 50 from the feed store is a good injectable antibiotic that can be given orally, and treats MG.
