Way too many eggs!

So I have eight hens, I got seven eggs yesterday, it’s the middle of winter in Alaska, and I get 13 eggs today? What’s up with that?

Maybe they later some a couple days ago, then buried them. That happens to me sometimes. Easter eggers are awesome!!

I love my EEs. They’re mixed that we’re on sale in tractor supply and they have hair……. They’re Easter eggers of some sort tho

If they have access to the nest box at "night" they laid after you locked them up. I've found eggs as late as 10pm before.

I did not know you could do that, I guess I get how you can when they can’t recognize them, that’s very useful to know thank you

I bake them on a cookie sheet and crush them up. It's proven to not be needed just how we done it when I was growing up. They seem to crush up easier so I just keep doing it. It's a good way to give the girls back the calcium they used making the eggs.

I have three Easter eggers, two cuckoo Maran mixes, two cinnamon queens and one black sex-link, the black sex-link is about 3 years old, the Marans were hatched in may and the others in march

Is it possible that a few were layed last night?
