We are second guessing.. Roo?

We have a confirmed Easter Egger Roo that's been crowing since around 6-8 weeks and has an obvious red comb. This Easter Egger was purchased at the same time. Approximately 12 weeks old now... has a pink comb but it's a decent size, no crow yet, but the feathers have us questioning. What's your opinion?

Females usually have a repetitive feather pattern. I'm interested to read other comments.
