We were told these are dominiques...

The guy we bought these from said they were dominiques, but they have no white on them. Can anyone tell me what kind they are?

Those definitely aren't Dominiques. I'm guessing they're Black Sexlinks.

I don't know what they are but I agree that they are not dominiques. Maybe a sexlink. No expert here. Just a guess. I hate it when someone misrepresents what they are selling.

I'm disappointed! I really wanted barred rock because I love black and white chickens. He said he had these "dominiques" that were black and white. We drove almost an hour to find out they were not black and white at all. We decided to go ahead and get them.
I don't know much about chickens at all. I only have orphintons and polish chickens. Are these kind good layers? Do they make good pets? Also can you tell if they are all hens and how old? I don't believe anything the guy told me now!

They look Black Sex Links and no too healty.Give them wormer and antibiotic.All hens + - 2monts old.Black Sex Links are nice layers

dominique chicks are barred, even when mixed the barring is dominant. i dont know what you have there.

Smell is because they been cept in bad evirolment (dirty house)

Yup, I'd say black sex-links.

They do look a bit off, maybe cold. Hope they aren't sick.
