Weird egg??

Hey y’all, one of my hens laid a weird looking egg, wanted to know if there’s something I should be concerned about like calcium excess or deficiency or an illness but or something?

Looks fine! Is she a new-ish layer? They can take a while to work things out. Otherwise, it could be caused by stress, even just a one off stressful event while the egg was being formed. If it happens repetitively she may have a kink in her system but every now and then I wouldn’t worry.

I do see when I have eggs like this that the “sealing” of the cracks isn’t really 100%, and you should keep them in the fridge.

Not a concern. Just a weird eggshell. It happens sometimes.
