I’ve made a few posts about these dudes, but something about how they behave puzzles me.

My mother is still pretty sure atleast one of them is a girl (i’m not optimistic at all) but the fact that they’re almost 3 months old and neither of them have ever even attempted to crow??!??
every roo we’ve ever had started crowing just after a month, they certainly LOOK like boys (one is suuuper friendly, the other isn’t but isn’t mean either) with their wattles, combs and sticky up tails- but this no crowing thing is throwing me off so much!! any suggestions on what’s going on?
**i’ll try and update with more recent pics later!! **

this is the most recent pic i have of them chilling with their sister although it’s not good quality:

Makes. They are young. Many won’t crow until 3 months or so, although there is always the ones that try to crow early, or actually manage a good crow before then.

The other aspect is sometimes other males present will cause some males to delay their crowing debut. We’ve seen this in our flock before.

The second picture looks like a female, the reason I say this is the wing has no burgundy colored feather plus the colors and pattern looks even.
here are some recent pics of em i just took:
coco, the one you pointed out has the yellow tag on the right
