Male calicos are impossible. The gene determining the calico coloring ( orange, black, white) is always female.

Like I said, genetic mutation, only been recorded twice, I don't think they were able to reproduce either, so no chance of inheritance.

My husband's cat gave birth to one. She unfortunately was a terrible parent and the kitten got stepped on. To this day my husband won't own a cat.

That has happened to me, unfortunately... My cat gave birth to two kittens, and she ended up smothering them both.

Male calicos are an incredibly rare mutation and since it is a female gene, the males are sterile and are unable to produce any kittens, let alone more

Weird thing: My Lefty's vulture hocks have repeatedly been compared by my DM to the fins on some 50's car.
I cannot see them differently, now. And his "fins" are very impressive.

Okay, well I have something. Everyone immediately assumes that chickens stink. I have been asked many times, "Do you have the coop far away from your house? The smell must be awful." But, the coop only smells if you neglect your chickens and never clean it out.
