Do you have the same number of students?

Up hear it sounds like public schools have about 1/2 attendance.

Seems the same to me. But in our town you wouldn't even know there is a pandemic. It's pretty much business as usual around here.
Only a handful of students are still wearing masks after the first day.
Nor do they care about social distancing.

it's an experimental train wreck here too--first day of school an idiot parent tried to drop off her kids and they were supposed to be in quarantine---good someone knew!

Lot's of both down here our little town they have half the lower classes alternating days not all at once seems to be working so far

Teachers have to be masked any time they are "around people" lol.
One wears a mask and a face shield. Makes me giggle
Most are constantly pulling them down or off every chance possible. Lol. I hate it all it sucks.
It's all such a pita.

Same old same old my helper is good to me though, a few fries short of a happy meal, but willing to work and pleasant to be around. Can't really ask for more than that.

We have no kids that age or grankids here so have not allot of contact but by friends in birds we take masks ever where here and wear them as exit the car

We started out in person. Three weeks in and we had to go to hybrid this week. The entire high school girls’ volleyball team is quarantined because one girl came to practice on a Monday and tested positive on Tuesday. The coaches couldn’t “guarantee” that the WHOLE rest of the team had masks on when in contact with her, or kept 6’ from her or didn’t have 15 minutes or more of cumulative time near her.

So, between that and community cases going up, we started hybrid this week. Pre-k - 8 will still be here every day, grades 9-10 on Monday/Tuesday, 11/12 Thursday/Friday, and Wednesday is supposed to be deep cleaning.
