Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Symptoms of wet gangrene may include:

Swelling and pain at the site of infection
Change in skin color from red to brown to black
Blisters or sores that produce a bad-smelling discharge (pus)
Fever and feeling unwell
A crackling noise that comes from the affected area when pressed
No.... No... :he

There is minor swelling around the edges, where the scales have come off, and a slight reddish tint I took to just be blood gathering there a bit due to swelling.

Help?? Please?? What do I do??
Hadn't seen redness as a symptom before, and am a bit panicked now- Sorry.

You only gonna be dreaming of her if you do!

Thanks! That happens around this time of year. I'd hatch them myself, but I'm pretty full up too! :D
And if you ever want some, just let me know.

That goes for all pond residents. ;)

I'm sitting here eyeballing them and wondering if I could get away with a coop of seramas in the backyard of the house in town, lol.

"They're not chickens, I swear."

I think she put you know what in the pond filter again!

I bet Sour did it this time! :D

Seriously, don't panic reading all that bad stuff. I know you will evaluate before doing anything hasty, but you have to stay calm for her, and take your time figuring out what needs to be done.
