Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Hey all, it's been a long time but after several weeks, 2300 miles and various other adventures of moving I have managed this morning to find the box in which I had packed my water wings so I can once again visit the pond..................
I can't imagine ever catching up on all the posts I've missed (but I'll be trying) - but I can say that I have missed this place!
All five of us (DH, myself, DS, the dog and the cat) made it through our Oregon Trail adventure safely -- we had expected to lose someone to a river crossing, snake bite, starvation or dysentery, we were fortunate

The real adventure was after we got here -- DH settled in at his folks' place and started his new job within a few days of our arrival....the rest of our party took refuge at my sister's farm a few hours to the south while we began the search for a home for all of us (in-laws dogs made it a non-starter of an idea for all of us to live together). Fortunately, it took less time than anticipated and after a few weeks we had found our new home - we moved in almost two weeks ago and it is really beginning to feel like home. The very best part is that our new landlords have already made it clear that, when I am ready, we are more than welcome to keep a small flock of hens

Now - off to read pages upon pages of posts to see what sort of mischief you all have been up to.....................

I was wondering about you just the other day! Glad you all had a great time. Sounds like alot of fun. Hope you have some pics to share :)
Abd welcome back!

That's a good day! What do you need now? Points or wins?

One male has 6 wins and just needs 3 points for his title. The other is just starting his career and has a second, two thirds and an NBQ in six trials.

Second day of our club trial just completed so I am climbing up on my lily pad for a little nap.

Have a wonderful time - as mentioned above, a good life preserver is definitely in order.

Outstanding!
Enjoy the snooze, just be careful not to roll off the lily pad!
