Let her know I'll get there soon... am trying to catch up...![]()
I'm not setting again until after Lima in March. Most of mine are backyard mutts right now but are laying gorgeous colored eggs! Let me know if you want some to put in the batorI'm going to make hardware cloth tubes for one of the trays in my GQF cabinet so I can try horizontal turning. I've not had problems with the egg trays, but what the heck...can't hurt, right?
It will just be a simple design with several tubes of 1/4" hardware cloth edged with something grippy. They'll sit side by side to fill the bottom of the tray, front to back, and will be zip tied to the hardware cloth bottom of the tray. Loading and unloading will just be by spreading the wire a little. There is no need to make them too tight, they won't roll out.
This time I will make a trip out to your place! Oh and the ducks are layingI'm not setting again until after Lima in March. I got the most beautiful olive egg today![]()
