Yep, whole eggs. A snake isn't likely to run into a nice, hardboiled chopped up egg in the wild so it would have no clue what to do with it, unfortunately. Like my beardie doesn't know how to drink from a dish of water until I show her because she'd probably never run into standing water like that in the wild.

I always liked reptiles, but never owned any. The finch pairs was a great idea for that OP.

They're great, but they can be finicky, lol. I kind of wonder why he didn't consider that himself. if I had a starving snake that only ate a certain kind of eggs and I couldn't find the eggs, my thought would be to get the birds that lay the eggs, lol. Take out the middleman.
