Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

So Dolly has a flock of BCM girls? :D Isn't he quite a bit larger than they are??

I sent Sidewing a message on FB a week or so ago, never got a reply. He had changed jobs, and I think he moved. Might have even gotten rid of all his chickens. My brain has forgotten the details.
Funny my brain did too.....

I forgot to share that hubby did replace the axle bearing on my truck. A heck of a lot cheaper than a shop would have charged. Brakes had to be changed too, emergency brake included, but he did good! I was proud of him. I'm all legal now. :D

That's great VW.... This was my project today..... Fuel pump and replaced all the metal fuel lines with plastic....I bought the tool kit a while ago..... From now on no more metal lines here..... Except brake lines of course.
Job turned out nice an professional like....:)

February....
2/17 anniversary of when I was assaulted gives me nightmares throughout Feb.
Lost a dear staff member to brain cancer.
Ran across puppy records...my dogs would've had their 6th birthday on 2/26.
I had to put my Alfalfa duck down.
Abruptly dumped by the man I was (am still unfortunately) in love with.

I've got to go on a vaca for the entire month of Feb next year. Good riddance February!!

Welcome March!!!
:hugs

Hi all! Well, the house has yet to spin off to the in-color world of Oz, but not for lack of trying!
You know things are bad when my cockerels (who have been moved around a bit, so don't like each other very much) are all cuddling in the bachelor pad.
The weather man promises a little snow... it's either not going to, or it did, but the wind carried it away!
Hang onto your hat, Orr! Maybe tie a cement block to your ankle when you go outside so you don't blow away.

Hubby usually cuts those down in the fall or spring, burns the base (melted the siding on the house one year, oops!) and they grow back beautiful. He said when he cuts it off real soon, we can cut a chunk out to transplant into the duck pen. :)
I love that grass. It’s so pretty and hardy.

I can home one time to my husband burning leaves in my flower bed. :thI said you do realize there is a sprinkler system and cloth laid down to prevent weeds under there.....:lau

I bought 2 rolls of that cloth once; not worth a dam. Want the 2nd roll?

He was raking new mulch in, set the base of those grasses on fire, turned to rake some more, and the wind picked up, blazed the side of the house in a split-second! A sprinkler system would have been nice! :p
He hosed it down in a hurry, but it did melt a few rows of siding. on top of that, we couldn't match the color, so we stole some from the back of my garage to replace the melted ones, and replaced the back of my garage with a slightly different color. Close as we could get. Lol!
