And I know all about the getting busy.
I have a hard time keeping up here sometimes.
Seems like I had more time when i was still working......

Dad told me once, after he'd been retired a couple years, that he didn't know how he'd ever had time to work for a living.

Don't know there really wasn't any internet when my kids grew up..... There was when they got older but by then they were practically adults....... My daughter grew up with the internet but that was before youtube got so big and facebook was still growing....

It’s really scary as a parent. We closely monitor what our kids do online. They can do and see so many things. Which can be good or bad. So I’m hoping we can teach the boys to show restraint and make good choices. We shall see.

I gave two of my ducks away today to hopefully a good home.
I think it will be okay...... For them.....I was sad. But I did it for my wife it's her friend and she ask if it would be okay. And if it doesn't work out I'll get them back.

Ive heard my dad say similar..

Reminds me of when my ex-FIL retired, he would go golfing every day, even in the snow. He said when he was working, he had to work when it snowed, so once retired, he could golf when it snowed too.
