well i did it !AGIAN! i eggs and placed them in the incubator TUNE IN

the guy i got them from said that he is not starting his eggs until april and he does it every year , he like when he has them in warmer weather .. he said if he turns them everyday and keeps them cool not cold they will survive..

ok so we are having no problems t,emps are stable and humidity looks good. we also set a couple chicken eggs in there, just for fun.

Ok day 32 its getting close it feels like forever this time around .... everything is working great no hiccups this time around when do the eggs start to move does anyone know , i have trying to hear the heartbeat with my stethoscope but only hear the noise around me , has anyone had any success with the stethoscope ?

At day 40 you can do the whistle test to see if the eggs rock.

mine had tiny little movements starting on day 35 then seemed to do very little till day 48.
I have staggered egg times with two sets having reached day 35 so just my 2 cents. your milage may vary.

Ok so we did the trader joe's experiment with the fertile eggs and we got 1 out of 12 to hatch our broody duck has been sitting on in until the other night and my husband decided to pring it into the house put it in our incubator so we can see our first bird hatch but i am worried about bacteria any thoughts?By the way it did hatch and is in there right now now sure what to do with it poor guy.
