Related: one of my buddies was talking to his dad while leaving the show. He's known for funny sayings, and this is probably his best. "Well, Dad, this morning you took apart an engine, went to a gun show in the afternoon, so the only fitting end to the day would be to chop down a giant sequoia tree with a hatchet while fending off a grizzly bear with a five-foot chain."

I feel sorry for the next raccoon to go after your chickens. Cool that the gun show was decently priced, around here the gun shows don't have the best reputation. I went to one two years back and virtually everything was overpriced. Oh, yeah, the neo-NAZI booth was also a bit disturbing. I don't need brass knuckles, combat boots and a confederate flag. Maybe next time.
