No kibble. The wet food is gonna be the stepping stone. There's just no licking at all. No teeth yet either....

i've got a little boy right now, about the same age as your little one. He likes to suck/gnaw on my fingers a bit, but he's totally not ready for food. He's doing great on the bottle, and there's really no need to rush. he's going several hours between feedings (i don't keep track of the time, just feed him when he's hungry), sleeps through the night, so the bottle isn't an inconvenience.

just an fyi. I adopted 2 kittens from a shelter, they were 5 weeks old. The shelter was giving them soft food since they ate it. Almost all their hair fell out. I brought them right from the shelter to the vet. They had a nutritional deficiency that caused hair loss, not only that, they were stupid

. seriously, they had issues from the deficiency for the rest of their life, weird quirky things. I put them back on kitten formula (homemade, vet gave me recipe) and their hair grew in and they gained weight....but they were still stupid

eta- I wouldn't introduce solids till 4 weeks and still make sure you supply formula till at least week 6...pretty easy once they use a dish..

She has started gumming my fingers. Guess that means she is gonna start eating some solids. She's crawling around slot more and is "playing". Gonna get some more photos today!!
