I heard peeps last night and this morning and they are LOUD, even from inside the egg! None of mine have pipped externally yet, though...still waiting...

4 a.m. this morning I woke to a ruckus of egg tapping & chirping, but no chicks yet-went to sleep and at 7 a.m. two had hatched, my kids & I watched two more pop out right before 9 and now we are up to five hatched, 3 Delawares from Tracy/shortcake & 2 RIR from a local farmer. 2 more eggs look very promising.

Awesome! I just happened to come in here to check mine and spotted this one with some shell on the bottom of the 'bator, then saw some movement. This is so EXCITING!!

I set mine the evening of May 31st, so today is "technically" day 20, since most say you count the day they're set as day #1, rather than day #0.

The egg that has pipped externally has pipped near the underside of the shell, rather than on top, which has me a bit worried (all the pics I've seen show them pipping on the top side of the shell), but I have seen movement and the baby is still peeping from time to time, so all is well so far

Mine were set the evening of the 31st also, at about 6 pm... so does that make this day 20 for me?! Now I'm even more worried about seeing none of this progress everyone is talking about!!!

And I'm hatching EE's and one mutt... not sure what that one is, but excited to find out
