Lux, Have you had consistent temps and humidity? If so, that is actually a good thing and that they will be on time.

I actually had problems for a while with the temp spiking up to like 104 during the night, it was mostly steady though..

I just heard the chicks peeping a little too loudy, so i went to check and the temperature was 110...it's like everything that could go wrong is happening tonight...something must have happened when i opened the inucbator to take out the water bowl that the chick was stuck in...

I'm never going to sleep...i feel like there's going to be some other disaster...or maybe i should go to sleep, maybe it's my fault...

OH i hear ya i had my silkie roo drug off last nite by somethen, then had 3 silkie mix chics out for fresh air and while i was dealing with the missing roo they got to hot and all died. It has been a bad day

yes the spikes were all in the first week. I have seen life since then, I even saw movement on day 18. I had a couple infertile eggs, and 4 with bloodrings that were thrown out around day 12. I assume those were the ones who died from the temp spikes.

I was asking Lux...but sorry to hear of your spike. Have you seen any life as well?
