We're all hatchin'! Congrats, everyone!

Don't ever underestimate chicks...Whatever you think they won't get into...think again...Also, remember when you put the chicks in the brooder, put something into the waterer so they don't drown in there as well.

I have faith in that my eggs will hatch..I have never had an early one...(this is my 3rd hatch ) Never had spikes of either one...

LOL (convincing myself they are ok)

I've had lots of chicks before...never an issue with the water before. I think she might be a SUPER Silkie, able to leap tall bowls...well, almost!

ETA: I'll never do it again though, that's for sure...I would have been horrified if this had happened while i was at work...

My water bowls are underneath the hatching tray. I have a wire rack that sits about 6 inches from the bottom of the bator, and a tray that I have the eggs in.

LOL, the whole sibling rivalry thing already, huh??

My humidity is good, It's a cheap one, but it's working well, it's a little over 65... should it be higher??

And I candled the night before day 18 when I locked it all down. The eggs that remained all had veins and signs of life previously, and on day 18 were all very dark except the air sac. I also saw movement inside a few while candling that day... I know they have baby chicks in them... I just don't know why they don't want to come out?!
