We're all hatchin'! Congrats, everyone!

It will be a very fine line, a tiny edge on the shell....it's seriously VERY hard to see unless you're looking at it from the right angle....I have three pips now, but I don't know if the third one has been there all along or if it just pipped...that's now hard it is. I can see if I can take a pic, but I don't know if it would show up. I don't know if everyone else has such a hard time seeing them, but I had to stare HARD to find mine....and now I just wanna reach in there and pull the little piece of shell off!!!!

There are some cheeps too, but I didn't hear them until I unplugged the fan for a second. I wonder how long they had been cheeping!!! It's also hard to hear those....I didn't realize how muffled they were until I finally heard them!!!

Lord, let our chickies hatch!!!

Lux...i am using the carton method...seems to be going okay.

I agree, the first pips are very hard to see. Where my bator is sitting doesn't get good direct light, so I can't see the pips at all without shining my candling flashlight on them. I'm pretty sure that one pipped last night, but it was on the bottom and I didn't realized it until this morning when I saw the bits of shell underneath it. The other three have definitely pipped today.

I'm not having anyone cheaping continuously, but it's pretty loud when they do. If you've got fan or house noise, though, you might not hear it.

It's definitely nerve-wracking though waiting for them to progress. The eggs are still moving a bit, so at least I know they're still alive.

ETA: Jen, congrats!! You know we want pics ASAP.

Jean, I know what you mean. I'm having the hardest time not reaching in and picking off the bits of shell, too.

Hey Lux dont feel bad I am in the same boat as you. No pips no rocking nothen i have 13 ee eggs in there if they dont hatch I will seriusly cry. All the bantams i bought with these ee eggs all were clear but three. Then those three did not make it past day 14. I also put these in on May 31 at like 9pm. Good Luck

okay, is it normal for there to be NO progress??? It's be like forever, and there are no extra cracks....and one egg has been jumping around like crazy, but there's no pip....I'm worried about that one....

I have 5 out, walking around...a 6th one hatched and died within a couple of minutes...she was bluish, i wonder if she drowned, I have them set upright in an egg carton and she pipped out the bottom...poor thing! I feel sad yet still excited for the others.

I have four more to go that don't appear to be anywhere close to hatching yet. A couple of microscopic pips...

I really do hope you guys see some progress soon. It's completely nerve racking!
