Another question.

For the ones that have not pipped.... If today is day 21 how long to you give them to hatch after that?

I was kinda thinking that by Monday they would need to be tossed.

One of my cuties isn't opening its eyes.

I don't know what to do-should I wait and hope that they somehow develop?

I'm thinking I should pull my 4 hatched ones out and put them in a brooder. It looks like it could be hours yet before the last three hatch and the ones that have aren't drying as well as I would expect them to. I wouldn't want them to get sick from staying wet too long. Humidity is only 67%, so not what I would think is too high.

I agree. They can live in the bator for at least 48 hrs. They have the yolk sac that they can live off of until then.

Guys!! I'm at my fiances brothers at a fathers day type family event....

I'm not home to watch my eggs, its driving me crazy!!!

Okay, still nothing on the other 4 eggs. However, this little one that did hatch yesterday is now officially SPOILED!!

I put my index finger in the food and she came running over, so I started messing with the food with my finger and got her to eat. Same thing with the water; I did see her drink, but only if my finger was there! As soon as my finger enters her brooder, she comes running. Can you say R-O-T-T-E-N?!?

Number 5 has hatched, another feather-legged yellowish/reddish. So far it's gone yellow-black-yellow-black-yellow. Number 6 looks to be ready to zip and I think I see black. Number 7 will be the color tie-breaker if it ever hatches.

It is rocking and rolling but has barely pipped the shell. Must be waiting for a special invitation or something.
